Amesbury Rugby Club

Amesbury RFC Mens Rugby
mesbury RFC is a community Rugby Club welcoming families
Amesbury RFC Womens Rugby

The idea of an Amesbury rugby team was conceived in 2016 and formally established with affiliation to the Dorset & Wilts RFU in April 2017.

With the backing of Amesbury Town Council we have a rugby pitch and a shared clubhouse. We kicked off our first season in September 2017.

September 2018 saw Amesbury Rugby Club Senior Mens and Ladies teams competing in their first league competitions. Men in D&W 3 North and the Ladies team in Women's NC South 2

Our club colours are Black & Amber.

Both the men and ladies teams had successful opening seasons. The men won their league, unbeaten and the ladies came 3rd in an extremely competitive league.

The club runs senior men's, senior ladies, Walking Rugby for over 40's and a growing minis, juniors and colts. We will be adding additional age groups and girls rugby as soon as we can secure additional playing space, facilities and coaches.

Our vision is to earn the right to call ourselves a community rugby club. Our ambition is to provide rugby for all ages, abilities and genders across our community including full contact rugby, touch rugby and walking rugby.

New players are welcome to turn up and join in. Contact us for more information.
