PITCH UP FOR Rugby
Saturday 4th September & Sunday 5th September
Pitch Up For Rugby is a Rugby Football Union (RFU) initiative to encourage people across the country to head down to their local clubs to join together in a national celebration of rugby’s return.
Amesbury Rugby Club will run Pitch Up For Rugby activity on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September.
The events will be an opportunity to bring the club players and volunteers together to start putting some rugby activities in place and prepare for the coming season while being on hand to engage with anyone from the local area who would like to come and talk about the club and getting involved as a player, volunteer, sponsors or supporter.
Saturday 4th September 13:00 to 15:00 will be for anyone interested in adult rugby (men, women, and walking) be it playing, coaching, volunteering or supporting. The club needs all of you.
Sunday 5th September 10am to 11:30am will be for minis (boys & girls aged 5 & 6 on the 1st September) as well as Juniors (boys aged 12 to 15 on 1st September)
Amesbury Rugby club is always looking for ways in which we can engage with our local community and it will be fantastic to see people from those communities, players, coaches, volunteers, match officials and sports fans turning out to support their clubs.
You could be a lifelong rugby player, entirely new to the sport, looking to get involved in coaching, taking on a volunteer role or just looking to see what your local community club has to offer.
The events are about celebrating being together again and there will be plenty of people on hand to show you what being part of the rugby family is all about.
As a club, we offer rugby for minis, juniors, adult men and women and also Walking Rugby so we have something to offer for a broad range of ages and genders from the community.
Why not register your interest so we know what we can be putting in place on the day and we hope to see you there.
